The FL-550 Servo motor consumes about 70% less energy and is 1/3 lighter than the average clutch motor. It also does not generate any appreciable heat.
The FL-550 Servo Motor has the same features as a clutch motor but by far much more user friendly. It only runs when engaged and the maximum sewing speed can be adjusted to the speed you desire no matter how hard you depress your foot on the treadle.
